WHAT EXACTLY IS LIFESTYLE SCHOOL PORTRAITS?
Lifestyle School Portraits are a modern approach to school photos. No more cheesy smiles with strange backgrounds. Lifestyle School Portraits is custom, candid, and genuine moments captured of your students done in a studio like setting. Your photos will be simple and classic with a black background. Instead of forcing a cheesy grin, the children will be encouraged to be themselves and will never be forced to smile. No awkward poses or faces, just the authentic child, on the day. The results are genuine and timeless portraits that are far from the traditional photos we have become accustomed to with bright flashes and unflattering, busy backgrounds. I provide a light and fun experience for your students and take pride in providing an environment where the kids can relax and be themselves, naturally.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
My services are completely online. Families are given access to password-protected online ordering galleries. Each child will be provided with 3-5 images in both color and black and white. Parents can choose to print or download any or all of the images, as opposed to having a pose chosen for them. I provide several kinds of professional printing choices or digital images. A detailed PDF explaining the ordering process will be sent to the schools for distribution to the families prior to picture day, and I handle all questions from the families myself.
Photos are ordered online and delivered straight to the school or delivered straight to the families home.
I provide all equipment and personnel necessary for picture day.
I provide the school with full-resolution images to use in yearbooks, school materials, school IDs, or any other way they'd like to use the photos.
I take staff photos and provide complimentary staff print packages.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
Are your photos expensive? Nothing is due upfront. I offer competitive rates and all profit is made from ordering. Several options are available from digital downloads to a variety of prints that fit everyone's needs. I also donate 10% of my profits to the school.
How many students can you accommodate? I can do any size of school, from preschools with only a few students to large schools. I have worked with children of all ages and developmental stages in photography.
What about kids with special needs? I will work with all kids at their own comfort level. I will never force them to smile and will gently engage at their own pace.
What about privacy? Each school’s gallery is hosted on a private unlinked, hidden site that cannot be accessible to anyone that is not given a direct link and password to the gallery.
What time of year do you take school portraits? I work with each individual school to schedule shoots anytime during the academic year. I schedule these sessions with each school to provide the most convenient time for their school, daycare, homeschool group, or preschool.
